Our thanks to the Prince William Chamber of Commerce for honoring Habitat for Humanity with the Agnes L Colgan Community Service Award for Health & Human Services at their 2016 Excellence in Business Awards ceremony on February 25. Recognition was given for our work last fiscal year to complete 25 projects, repairing homes for 15 families and providing community development services in 10 public areas and neighborhoods. Note was also made of the relocation of our current ReStore, the anticipated opening of the second ReStore in Woodbridge and our upcoming home rehab work on Central Park Drive in Woodbridge. The Chamber provided Habitat for Humanity with a $1,000 check to continue our work in the community.

Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope and this award was earned by the work of our many volunteers, donors, customers and community partners. We thank all of you for partnering with us to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
