When a donor gives something to the ReStore, they receive an acknowledgment of their donation that may be used for tax deduction purposes. When the donation comes to the ReStore, rather than the landfill, the recycling benefit is tremendous, both environmentally and fiscally. When the donation is purchased by a customer at the ReStore, the funds are used to end poverty housing in our community. It’s a win-win-win proposition!

The walls in the back of the ReStore (where our offices will be located) came down last week thanks to our trusty construction volunteers, Arthur Butt, Dave Williams, Al Harris, Jean Schwab and Hao Dinh. We’re on the search for a few things we’ll need to build out the offices, including drywall, an HVAC unit, ductwork, windows, doors, flooring and more. One doesn’t usually think that their shopping or browsing the Internet could help Habitat for Humanity. But, it can with these two simple methods.

AmazonSmile1) AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of the price of your purchases to Habitat for Humanity Prince William County when you shop through smile.amazon.com! A few of our volunteers do this and some of them check in with us once in awhile to see if we’re receiving funds. We are! The quarter from October thro..

A rich variety of donations makes the ReStore a fun place to visit. One never knows what might come in to the ReStore from day to day, so many shoppers make it a regular place to visit. Shown are a few items that were donated recently. If you’re considering a donation, the ReStore accepts them Monday – Friday, 9 – 6, and Saturday, 9 – 5. If your donation is too big to bring yourself and you live in Prince William County, Manassas or Manassas Pa..

Enjoy the slide show of some items that were in the store as of 2-16-16. If you want t..

Whether you’re a shopper or a donor…or just want to know…

The ReStore is filled with treasures! And, they all came from donors like you. Merchandise changes daily and our regular shoppers have learned that if you see something you like, you better get it now because it probably won’t be there next time!

Enjoy the slide show of some items on the floor as of 2-9-2016. Please note that there are no guarantees that the merchandise will be there w..

If there’s one thing we learned on Saturday at the ReStore, it’s that we’ll need MORE VOLUNTEERS than ever this year!

volunteers neededThe number of volunteer opportunities has been BUMPED UP on the Volunteer Calendar for the ReStore.

Volunteering at the Restore is fun! Help us receive donations; clean, test and price product; merchandise the floor; help customers load their cars; be a greeter and checker and more. We can use some specialists, too, like peop..
