On Thursday, July 17, Habitat Hero Sponsor, Greystone, sent 106 of its Warrenton, VA-based employees to participate in its annual nationwide “Day of Service” to help beautify public spaces as part of Habitat for Humanity Prince William County’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.

ShannnonAnne Marie Shannon is a Head Start and special needs school bus attendant for Prince William County Schools. She lives in her Manassas condo with her two school-age daughters.

Anne Marie’s heating and air conditioning unit hasn’t been working for over a year. Unable to afford a new unit, Anne Marie contacted Habitat for a hand-up. Habitat will be replacing the HVAC with a new unit and will also repair the leaky bathtub and two interior doors.
