Volunteers Philip MagGill, Heather McGettigan and Dan Sickler started on the home repairs of long-time Manassas Park resident, Dorothy Obenchain, on Saturday.

Outside, they dug a trench and installed a catch basin and drain pipe to solve the water drainage problems in her yard.

Home repairs continued at family partner Cecelia Shepherd’s Manassas Park home on Thursday and Friday.

Volunteers Dennis Aughavin, Howard Fribush, Justin Fribush, Tarek Kalash, Zachary Logsdon, Don McCubbin, Jonathon Vogel and Dave Williams helped Construction Crew Leader, John Blake, repair the rear siding, replace the rear door, power wash the siding and stain the deck.

On Thursday, July 17, Habitat Hero Sponsor, Greystone, sent 106 of its Warrenton, VA-based employees to participate in its annual nationwide “Day of Service” to help beautify public spaces as part of Habitat for Humanity Prince William County’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.

Greystone employees rolled their sleeves up and dove into six Community Development projects from Woodbridge to Manassas.
