The proverb, “A place for everything and everything in its place” has been in print since the late 18th century. Sometimes, the quote is attributed to Ben Franklin. But, the logic of the quote is so sensible it was likely spoken prior to his use.

Many nautical texts use the quote. Which makes sense, considering how little space is available on a ship.

Does your home sometimes feel like it needs a bit of de-cluttering? Is organizing your home one of your New Year’s resolutions? If so, we have many solutions for you at the ReStore.

All of these options are available at the Manassas ReStore. They offer storage options for your rec room, living room, sun room, dining room, kitchen, basement, bedroom, laundry area…you name it! We’ve even seen people use cabinet sets from the ReStore in their garage!

Enjoy the photos and let your creative juices flow. You can use items from the ReStore as they are or re-purpose them to fit your needs. Sometimes, a little paint, sanding or handle-replacement transforms a piece into an entirely new style!

We also welcome your end of year donations. For convenience, we will be open the last week of December but please note our holiday hours:

Wednesday through Friday, 12/27-12/29: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, 12/30: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday and Monday, 12/31 and 1/1/18: CLOSED
We will resume normal store hours, Tuesday, January 2, 2018!

Our Manassas location is at 10159 Hastings Drive, at the corner of Hastings Drive and Dumfries Road, and our Woodbridge location is at 14055 Noblewood Plaza, at the corner of Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road.

Bring your donations before the end of the year to enjoy a 2017 tax deduction! Just a reminder, though, please do not leave donations outside of our doors when we are closed. Besides being unsightly, outdoor elements can ruin items left outdoors.

If you’d like to donate a large item that would be hard to transport yourself, call our ReStore at 703-369-6145 to schedule a free pick up in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
