#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. It is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the United States. You help us celebrate a kind of “Giving Tuesday” every day at the ReStore. Thank you! We decided to wrap this special #GivingTuesday message into our regular “What’s New at the ReStore” post. While reading about #GivingTuesday, enjoy some photos of items people gave to the ReStore this week.

#GivingTuesday follows the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. We hope you stopped by the ReStore on one of those days, too. We were open!

#GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. If you’d like to make a cash donation online through our secure donations page today, on #GivingTuesday, click here.

We are grateful for your cash donations made online on #GivingTuesday and we are grateful for your gifts to the ReStore, whether by donating items you no longer want or need, shopping for items you want or need, and volunteering.

To shop, visit one of our two locations Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. or Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Items are offered at 40% – 90% off retail prices.

To donate, drop off at the back of either location at 10159 Hastings Drive, Manassas, at the corner of Dumfries Road and Hastings Drive or 14055 Noblewood Plaza, Woodbridge, at the corner of the Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road.

If your items are too large to bring yourself, call us for a free pick up in Prince William County, Manassas or Manassas Park, 703-369-6145. Or you can e-mail us at restore@habitatpwc.org.

To volunteer, register and sign up for a date of service on our Volunteer Calendar.

Your support every day is appreciated. We’re grateful for the recognition that #GivingTuesday brings to the work Habitat for Humanity Prince William County does in our community. Your gift to Habitat for Humanity Prince William County has a local impact. Our home ownership and home repair programs give the gift of safe and stable housing to families and neighbors here in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.

If you’d like to see more items that have been donated to the ReStore this week, like and follow our Facebook pages at HabitatReStore.Manassas and HabitatPrinceWilliam. If you’d like to make a cash donation today, give through our secure online donation page.
