Most people think a Habitat for Humanity volunteer is a person swinging a hammer on a construction site. While that type of volunteer is extremely important, there are many other types of volunteer positions available at Habitat for Humanity.

One place that abounds with volunteer opportunities is the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore is a home improvement stores that sell new and gently used items. Proceeds from the ReStore help us provide affordable housing solutions in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park. Even within the Habitat ReStore, the variety of volunteer positions is extensive. There’s a way for everyone to help, regardless of skills or experience!

For example, Habitat for Humanity International scoured the web and found these actual volunteer opportunities currently available at Habitat stores around the U.S. These volunteer opportunities are also available at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore – Manassas.
