Founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action.
There are more than 1,400 local affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International in the United States and more than 70 national organizations around the world. Together, we have helped more than 1 million families — representing 5 million people — improve their living conditions since our founding in 1976.
Habitat for Humanity Prince William County became an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in 1994. Since then, our affiliate has completed more than 200 housing and community development projects in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
