Chicago native, Jack Cochran, was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969. Stationed in Virginia, he was active duty for three years and then served another seven years in the reserves.

After his Army service, Jack moved to Texas to work for IBM. In 1979 he was transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina, and then to Manassas in 1984. After working for IBM for 22 years, he was laid off and began working for DynCorp and other area government contractors until he was again laid off in 2013.

Now disabled, Jack lives with his son (who is also disabled) in the Manassas condo he’s owned since 1985 and needs some assistance with home repairs. We’ll provide kitchen and bathroom repairs, accommodations and safety modifications.

We are proud to continue to support our military veterans who are in need of home repairs. We’d also like to thank the DAV Chapter 48 for their contributions to our military veteran projects.
