To an organization used to helping others!
Habitat for Humanity is pleased to have been able to give a hand up to another local organization who does excellent work in the community, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, General Heiser Club in Dumfries, Virginia. And we were doubly thrilled to involve one of our corporate sponsors, SWIFT, in the project. On Friday, April 22, Habitat for Humanity and SWIFT repaired a roof, caulked siding, and cleaned gutters all in an effort to stop water leaks into the facility where kids learn and play. The Boys & Girls Club is open when schools are not, and provide a safe and positive environment for children and teens in our community.
