Due to Governor Northam’s Stay-At-Home Order (Executive Order #55), we are temporarily closed to the public. This means many of our programs are temporarily suspended including: volunteer opportunities (construction and ReStore); home repair and home ownership programs; and ReStore shopping, and picking up and/or dropping off donations.
This was not a decision made lightly. We know that this will be a real setback for many families who desperately need our home repair services and home ownership opportunities. Our ReStores serve as a place where people can get appliances, building materials and furniture at affordable prices; the stores are generally teeming with volunteers; and they serve to help donors who would like to give items to the ReStore that might otherwise end up in the landfill.
We are exploring every avenue to reopen as strongly as we were before the pandemic. We wish for safety to all of our staff and their families, and to you and your family. If you’d like to contact us, please understand that we are working remotely and will return messages as soon as possible. If you can make a donation, please visit our donations page. We hope to see you when the Executive Order is lifted!
