26th Manassas Rotary Club Golf Tournament

The Manassas Rotary Club held the “Friends of Lou Maroon 26th Annual Golf Celebration” on September 9, 2019, at the Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, Virginia. The tournament was highly successful, raising $38,000. Habitat for Humanity Prince William County was grateful to be named the recipient of the remainder of the funds to supports its home ownership and home repair programs in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.

The Tournament is posthumously named for Lou Maroon, a long-time resident of Manassas, businessman, member of the Manassas School Board, City Council and Manassas Rotary Club. Eighty-eight golfers convened on the course for a noon Shotgun Start. When the tournament ended, the golfers gathered for dinner, raffles and awards.
