Dog Lover, Cecelia Shepherd, Needs Minor Repairs

Habitat family partner, Cecelia Shepherd, moved into her Manassas Park home just after retiring 14 years ago. The fourth of nine children, Cecelia is no stranger to hard work as she grew up living and working on farms in Luray, Virginia. After moving to Northern Virginia, she worked for Safeway and A&P for 31 years.

Recently, Cecelia contacted Habitat to help her with some minor repairs. Habitat will be patching holes, repairing and painting widow trim, repairing door locks and latches, staining the deck, power washing the siding and cleaning the duct work.

Cecelia lives with her beloved Lhasa Apso dog and enjoys spending time with her son who lives in Fairfax.
