As we enter Phase One of Re-opening Virginia, Habitat for Humanity Prince William County is pleased to announce that the Manassas ReStore is re-opening Friday and Saturday, May 29-30, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The following week the Manassas ReStore will be open Friday and Saturday, June 5-6, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Donations may be dropped off during store hours. We will resume donation pick-ups, volunteer opportunities, home ownership and home repair opportunities at a later date. While the ReStore staff is working onsite, all other staff are working remotely and will return messages as soon as possible.
Through our Critical Home Repair program, critical systems that impact health and safety are repaired, replaced or built for families who could not otherwise afford to accomplish these tasks. Critical home repairs include the repair or replacement of major home systems including roofing, siding, windows, heating and air conditioning, plumbing or electrical systems, or providing accessibility accommodations such as wheelchair ramps.
Families who earn less than 60% of the area median income (or less than 80% of the area median income when a veteran lives in the home) are considered for the program. Critical Home Repair applicants are qualified through a comprehensive application process that evaluates their need for the service, their ability to repay a portion of the material costs, and their willingness to partner through volunteer labor (sweat equity).
If you would like to apply for our Critical Home Repair or Critical Home Repair for Veterans program, please fill out the Home Repair Interest Form. Once you have completed the interest form you will be mailed an application.
