Happy 4th of July!
The Manassas ReStore will be closed in recognition of the 4th of July holiday on Saturday. But, we will be open on Friday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 5th.
We’d love to show you everything that’s new this week in our video. Timing-wise, though, we’re still picking up merchandise to stock the floor for the weekend. So, the video will give you a peek at some of the new items and prepare to be surprised by more over the weekend.
The ReStore will accept donations at the donor door (at the back of the building) on Friday and Sunday. And, remember, our truck offers free pick-ups of your large items on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Call 703-369-6145 to schedule a pick-up.
In case you’re new to ReStores, here’s how they work. Local Habitat for Humanity’s open ReStores to raise funds to support their home ownership and home repair programs. You’ll find that if you visit more than one ReStore, they each have a different personality, depending on the location, space, and even the management of the store!
ReStores accept donations of building materials and home goods that are in good, salable condition. The merchandise is then sold to the general public at a discount from retail prices. The net profit from the sale of merchandise is used to help low-income families become home owners, to provide neighborhood revitalization in low-income neighborhoods, and to make home repairs for low-income families.
So, you see, there’s a purpose behind the ReStore! And we like offering you a good deal, too. So come on out and support the store that builds and repairs homes in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
We’re located at 10159 Hastings Drive (that’s at the corner of Dumfries Road and Hastings Drive.) We’ll be open 10 am – 6pm on Friday and 11 am – 4 pm on Sunday.
