The Choudry’s are a lovely family who live in the Georgetown Village subdivision in Woodbridge. Zulfiquar moved to the U.S. 27 years ago and became a U.S. citizen. He now works part time as a security officer and his wife of five years, Bushra, works as a substitute teacher for Prince William County Schools.

Sons Zeeshan and Adnan are honor students in 9th and 7th grades respectively. Recently, Adnan (on right) won the regional wrestling championship for PWCS middle schools. Zeeshan is looking forward to missionary work after graduating from a missionary college.

The Choudry’s have asked Habitat for a hand-up to fix several damaged windows, a damaged back door and cracked walls in their home. We will also repair some electrical issues, replace the kitchen exhaust fan and make sure the HVAC system is working efficiently. Zulfiquar learned about Habitat’s home repair program at the Woodbridge Senior Center. Volunteer work days have been added to the Volunteer Calendar during the month of May. You can sign up here.
